ભારતીય તોપખાનું આધુનિકીકરણ કાર્યક્રમ

અમેરિકી લશ્કરની એમ-૭૭૭ અફઘાનિસ્તાન યુદ્ધ દરમ્યાન.

આજે ઉત્સાહમાં આપણા જાણીતા ગણાય એવા ગુજરાતી (સંદેશ, ગુજરાત સમાચાર, મુંબઈ સમાચાર, દિવ્ય ભાસ્કર, અકિલા ), હિન્દી (દૈનિક જાગરણ) અને અંગ્રેજી (ટાઈમ્સ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા, ધ હિંદુ, હિન્દુસ્તાન ટાઈમ્સ, ઇન્ડિયન એક્ષ્પ્રેસ) વગેરેની ઈ-કોપી ફેંદી મારી.એક પણ, એક પણ છાપામાં પહેલાથી છેલ્લા પાના સુધી ક્યાંય ઉલ્લેખ સુધ્ધાં નઈ હો!

આ મુંબઈ સમાચારનું બીજું પાનું એક ઉદાહરણ તરીકે જુઓ, છાપાના બીજા જ પાનાં પર (પહેલા પર તો તમે જાહેરાતો છાપી, તે બરાબર છે, આવક માટે જરૂરી છે ) દેશના મોટા સમાચાર હોય કે "મનોરંજન" સમાચાર?

જવા દો, આપણા ત્યાં છાપાવાળાઓને શેને પ્રાથમિકતા આપવી એની ગતાગમ ઓછી છે એ તો જૂની વાત થઇ ગઈ, મુદ્દા પર આવીએ.

૧૩ ડિસેમ્બર, ૨૦૧૬ એ આપણા દેશના સંરક્ષણ માટે સુવર્ણ દિવસ હતો. આ મંગળવારની બપોરે ૪:૩૦ વાગે ઓરિસ્સાના બાલાસોરમાં સંપૂર્ણ સ્વદેશી બનાવટની ૧૫૫-મીલીમીટરની ભારતીય તોપે પ્રાયોગિક સાબિતીના ભાગ રૂપે પહેલો ગોળો દાગ્યો!!! જે ભારતીય લશ્કરના સાધન-સરંજામ (સાચું કહો તો એની તીવ્ર અછત) વિષે જાણે છે એજ આનું વિરાટ મહત્વ સમજી શકશે.

Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS) - આધુનિક ખેંચીને લઇ જવામાં આવતી ૧૫૫-મિમી, ૫૨-કેલીબરની રક્ષા અનુસંધાન અને વિકાસ સંગઠન (DRDO - Defense Research and Development Organization) દ્વારા નિર્મિત આ તોપ બે ખાનગી પેઢીઓના સહયોગથી બનાવવામાં આવી છે. કલ્યાણી ગ્રુપ અને તાતા પાવર(વ્યૂહાત્મક ઇજનેરી ડીવીઝન) ભાગીદારો છે. તે ઉપરાંત રક્ષા મંત્રાલય હેઠળ આવતું OFB-Ordinance Factory Board પણ આ પરિયોજનામાં જોડાયેલ છે. જમીનથી જમીન પર માર કરતી આ તોપના બે દિવસ પ્રયોગ થયા છે અને તકનીકી માપદંડો ઉપર તે સફળ નીવડી છે. કોઈ પણ નિર્માણાધીન/વિકાસાધીન શસ્ત્ર/સાધનનો પહેલી વાર ઉપયોગ એક ખૂબ મોટી કસોટી અને મોટું સીમા-ચિન્હ છે. કેટ કેટલાય ઇજનેરો અને ટેકનિશિયનોના રાત-દિવસના ઉજાગરા અને મહેનતની કસોટી થઇ હશે અને કેવી રીતે તેઓ ફાટી આંખે પહેલો ગોળો નિર્ધારિત લક્ષ્યને જઈને વીંધે છે કે નહિ તે જોઈ રહ્યા હશે. એક ઇજનેર તરીકે મારા એ બધાં જ જાત-ભાઈઓને ખૂબ ખૂબ અભિનંદન.

આજની તારીખે ભારતીય તોપખાનામાં ૧૫૫-મિમીની તોપોની અછત એ ખૂબ જ ચિંતાજનક મુદ્દો છે અને જગ-જાહેર છે. અછત એટલી તીવ્ર છે કે ધારી લો કે એક સાથે ૫ જુદી જુદી જગ્યાએ કારગીલ ઉભા થાય તો આપણા લશ્કરની કળ વળી જાય. અને ચીન-પાકિસ્તાનની મિત્રતા એટલી ગાઢ થતી જાય છે કે આવનાર ભવિષ્યમાં આપણે એક-સામટા બે દુશ્મનો સામે બાથ ભીડવી પડે એ સાચી શક્યતા છે. પાકિસ્તાન એ ચીનનો દત્તક પુત્ર થઇ ચૂક્યો છે, ભવિષ્યના યુદ્ધમાં દીકરાને હાથ લગાડશો તો બાપ કઈ છાનો બેસી રહેવાનો નથી. 

દેશ-દ્રોહી, મુસલમાનોના તુષ્ટિકરણ અને હિન્દુઓના પતન માટે કટિબદ્ધ એવી કોંગ્રેસના છેલ્લા ૧૮ વર્ષના શાસનકાળમાં ૧૫૮૦ નવી તોપ માટેના આંતર-રાષ્ટ્રીય ટેન્ડરો કેટલીય વાર બહાર પડ્યા અને રદ્દ થયા. પરિણામ એ છે કે ૧૯૮૬માં ખરીદાયેલી ૪૧૦ હોવીત્ઝર (કારગીલ યુધ્ધમાં ટીવી પર જોઈ હશે) બાદ છેલ્લા ૩૦ વર્ષમાં એક પણ નવી તોપ લશ્કરમાં જોડાઈ નથી. ઘણાં વર્ષોના આ ટેન્ડરોના ખેલ બાદ, DRDOના પુણે સ્થિત ARDE(Armament Research and Development Establishment) - શસ્ત્રસરંજામ શોધખોળ અને વિકાસ વિભાગને દેશ માટે સ્વદેશી તોપ બનાવવાનું કાર્ય સોંપાયું હતું. OFB અને ભારત ફોર્જને નાળચા બનાવવાનો આદેશ અપાયો છે. 

માનનીય શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદી સાહેબના "Make in India" કાર્યક્રમ હેઠળ, ઉલ્લેખિત ખાનગી કંપનીઓના સહયોગથી લશ્કરની ખૂબ મોટી જરૂરીયાતને પહોંચી વળવા ૨ ઉત્પાદન એકમો આકાર લઇ રહ્યા છે એમ DRDOના વડા શ્રી ડો. એસ. ક્રિસ્ટોફરે જણાવ્યું.

નંગ દીઠ ૧૫ થી ૧૮ કરોડના ભાવે ૧૫૮૦ ATAGS તોપો માટે રૂ ૨૫,૦૦૦ કરોડનો કરાર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. 

કોઈ પણ યુધ્ધમાં સૌથી વધુ સૈનિકોની શહીદી કે ઇજાનું કારણ તોપમારો હોય છે જે ૨૦-૩૦ કિલોમીટર દૂરથી કરવામાં આવે છે. પહેલા ભારે તોપમારો દુશ્મનનો કચ્ચરઘાણ વાળી દે પછી પાયદળ અને ટેન્કોની ટુકડીઓ ઓછામાં ઓછા સંઘર્ષ સાથે આગળ જઈને કબજો જમાવે છે. લશ્કરી ભાષામાં તોપ એ પાયદળની કરોડરજ્જુ છે... કરોડ ટટ્ટાર તો લશ્કર તૈયાર. એના વિના બધું નકામું. 

ભારતીય થળસેના પાસે ૨૬૪ તોપ રેજીમેન્ટ છે, દરેક પાસે ૨૧ તોપ હોય છે. મોટા ભાગની રેજીમેન્ટમાં હાલમાં હલકી ૧૦૫-મિમીની તોપો છે. પણ ભારતીય સેના ૧૫૫-મીમીની તોપને દરેક રેજીમેન્ટની પ્રાથમિક તોપ બનાવવાનું સ્વપન સેવે છે કારણકે ૧૫૫-મિમીનો મોટો ગોળો ઘણો વધારે વિનાશ નોતરે છે. 

૨૬૪ પૈકી જો માત્ર અડધી એટલે કે ૧૩૨ રેજીમેન્ટનું પણ આધુનિકીકરણ કરવા માટે 2772 તોપ જોઈએ જે હાલના ૧૫૮૦ તોપના ઓર્ડરથી ય પહોંચી ના વળાય. 

૨૫મી નવેમ્બર,૨૦૧૬ના  રક્ષા મંત્રી શ્રી મનોહર પારીકરે સંસદમાં જણાવ્યું કે ATAGS એ DRDOનો અત્યંત આગવી પ્રાથમિકતા ધરાવતા કાર્યક્રમોમાંથી (એક) છે જે સપ્ટેમ્બર,૨૦૧૫ સુધી માં સમાપ્ત કરવાનું લક્ષ્ય હતું જે હવે માર્ચ ૨૦૧૭ સુધી પાછો ઠેલાયો છે.

આ ઉપરાંત બીજી પણ તોપો હસ્તગત કરવાની યોજનાઓ કાર્યરત છે. ૧૯૮૬માં ખરીદાયેલી FH-77 બોફોર્સ ૩૯ કેલીબરના ગોળા દાગે છે. તેની ઉપલબ્ધ તકનીકી માહિતીના આધારે OFB તેની સુધારેલી આવૃત્તિની  ૧૫૫-મિમીની ૪૫-કેલીબરની તોપ બનાવી રહી છે. કેલીબર વધે એટલે તોપના નાળચાની લંબાઈ વધે અને તેની સાથે સાથે તોપની વધુ દૂર સુધી ત્રાટકવાની મારક-ક્ષમતા! આ સુધારેલી આવૃત્તિ તોપની મારક-ક્ષમતા ૨૭ થી વધીને ૩૫ કિલોમીટર થઇ જશે!!!! :)

૫મી ઓગસ્ટે રક્ષા મંત્રી શ્રીએ સંસદમાં જણાવ્યું કે આ સુધારેલી ૧૧૪  "ધનુષ" તોપ માટે OFBને ઓર્ડર આપવામાં આવ્યો છે. થળસેનાને પસંદ પડશે તો ઓર્ડર વધારીને ૪૦૦ તોપનો કરવામાં આવશે.

આ ઉપરાંત ભારતે અમેરિકા પાસેથી ૧૪૫ અત્યંત હળવી એવી ૧૫૫-મિમીની ૩૯-કેલીબરની BAE systems દ્વારા નિર્મિત તોપો માટે સોદો કર્યો છે એમ મંત્રી શ્રી એ ૨જી ડિસેમ્બરે  જણાવ્યું છે.

નવેમ્બર ૨૦૧૪માં રક્ષા મંત્રાલયે ૧૫,૭૫૦ કરોડના ખર્ચે જીપ કે તેના સમાન વાહન પર લદાય એવી ૮૧૪ Mounted Gun Systems (MGS) (સન્ની દેઓલનું બોર્ડર યાદ છે?!)  મંજૂર કરી હતી. ૨૮૦ સ્વયં-સંચાલિત  તોપો માટેના ટેન્ડર પણ બહાર પાડવામાં આવ્યા છે. આ બધી જ ૧૫૫ મિમીની ૫૨-કેલીબરની તોપો છે.

એક દિવસ એવો પણ આવશે કે કોઈ મને પૂછે કે "કોણ મોટી તોપ છે?" તો હું વટથી કહીશ કે મારો દેશ!

Welcome 2014

Little voice in your head says is deshdaaz going nuts?! Its not even May-2013 yet ! Yes, we are still within the first half of 2013 and no I do not work for crazy automotive companies who launch there 'next' year models almost 6 months prior to the actual year. That said, I do welcome 2014 so soon since I actually wish it's already here. What's the hurry? What does 2014 hold? Well to begin with it will be when Bharat and Bharatiyas will be teeming with hope that Shri Narendra Modi ji will move to Delhi. Whether you like him or not is it's hardly going to be matter of choice for voters. And when I talk about choice, it's not because his take on policy issues such as FDI in retail or women's reservation bill or capital punishment for rape convicts. Views may vary but IMHO those are 'internal matters' of the nation which have remain unsettled for long and could very well [not that it should] remain in status quo further. What CANNOT remain in status quo is China's belligerent stand in the whole ongoing Daulat Beg Oldi standoff.  Having read in details about the blunders that Congress committed back in 1962 which brought national humiliation that still haunts many, it is hardly a surprise how current Congress government is dealing with the situation. Your ENEMY intrudes your territory as deep as 18 Kilometers, set up a camp and bluntly REFUSE to pull troops back. And what do we do? We send them a memo(to be hand delivered by Foreign Minister himself on 9th May)!!! The Minister of External Affairs is now officially in the Nobel Peace Prize race. Here is unsolicited piece of advice Mr. Khurshid. Nothing wrong with trying to be peace-maker but then consider surrendering Indian citizenship and try it as Pakistani/North Korean/Chinese etc, take your pick. Don't get me wrong. I have no issues you trying it as Indian but it will improve your odds of winning as non-Indian since currently you are competing with our very own Prime Minister. Retired Army Chief V P Malik points out very well that only a "sound defense makes for sound diplomacy". [Video below] Clearly the guys in power did not take diplomacy101 in their college days.[Where did Salman Khurshid graduate from?]

And unless you are Nehruvian/Gandhian from the 60's you know that not just UPA1/2,  Congress in general have neglected our borders and defenses for decades. To that extent, I am actually surprised that they don't declare it in their election manifesto. It should be bold and red, "If voted to power,we reserve the right to neglect national interest". Must be that they expect people to assume that as a standard from any Congress government.

Anyway coming to my point, it not just the Chinese (with whom it's relatively easy to deal), we have new arrivals in Bharat. Yes, I use term arrivals and not visitors since visitors return at the end of their visit. Check out the pictures below. It's official!  YAY!

Getting my point now? Forget the internal matters India. Chinese, Pakistan-pushed-in-Talibanis, we have serious threat of external aggression that may escalate to war. Who is going to safeguard us and our borders? Name one Congress leaders up for the task. Mind draws blank? Don't worry, just means you are a sane/responsible citizen. India, your choices are limited and time-sensitive.

1) Get out of your 'comfort zone' in 2014 general elections AND vote 'One Man Army'  Shri Narendra Modi ji to Power to protect ourselves & our borders OR
2) Remain in your comfort zone & wait for the gun-totting, mask-wearing, Islam-swearing Mohammedan to LITERALLY knock on your door.

What? Am I exaggerating? Admittedly so but than consider this. These 'new arrivals' in the valley have already started issuing diktats for 'Indian'[read Hindu] female tourists to Kashmir such as NOT to wear jeans. Here are the links. P.S. : DEAR Prime Minister, if you cannot protect the sovereignty of our nation, kindly consider this. Arrange for mass transportation for civilians to Despang plains area. Granted we are not trained in high-altitude mountain warfare or even have basic fighting skills, this land is OUR mother and we will do 'whatever it takes' to drive out those ungrateful neighbors. The Chinese military can certainly not match the strength of 1.2 billion Indians, can they?

આપણે રક્ષા-મંત્રાલય(MoD, Ministry of Defense) ના આભારી છીએ કે જે ભારત ઈલેક્ટ્રોનિક્સ  લીમીટેડ(BEL)ની ઓર્ડર બુક તેમણે જ ભરેલી રાખવી જોઈએ એવી જૂનવાણી માન્યતાને પરિણામે આપણા દેશના લશ્કરને શત્રુઓ સામે  રાત્રિ-યુદ્ધ લડવા માટે અક્ષમ/વિકલાંગ બનાવે છે. અરે, પેલા જિહાદીઓ જે સીમા ઓળંગીને જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીરમાં ઘૂસી આવે છે તેમની પાસેથી આપણા લશ્કરને અપાતાં રાત્રિ-યુદ્ધમાં જોઈ શકાય એવા NVD(Night Vision Devices) કરતાં વધુ સારી ગુણવત્તાના NVD જપ્ત થયેલ છે. ચિંતાની વાત તો એ છે કે આ નિરાશાજનક પરિસ્થિતિ બદલવાના કોઈ સંકેત નથી. કારણ? રક્ષા-મંત્રાલય લશ્કરને જરૂર છે તે ધોરણો પ્રમાણે નહિ પણ BELની ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા પ્રમાણેના ટેન્ડર બહાર પાડવા જઈ રહ્યું છે.

સૂચિત MoD ટેન્ડર ૪૫,૦૦૦ NVD માટે હશે, જે પ્રારંભિક ખરીદી બાદ હજારો કરોડ રૂપિયાના કરારમાં પરિવર્તિત થશે. BELએ MoDને ત્રીજી પેઢીના ગણાતા NVD કે જેની લશ્કરને તાતી જરૂરિયાત છે તેના ધારા-ધોરણોમાં કાપ-કૂપ કરવા જણાવ્યું છે. NVDની ક્ષમતાની ગણતરી ફોમ(FOM-Figure of Merit)ના આંકથી થાય છે. લશ્કરે ૧૭૦૦થી વધુ ફોમ ધરાવતાં સાધનોની માંગણી કરી છે. BELની માંગણી છે કે ટેન્ડરમાં ૧૪૦૦થી વધુના ફોમના NVDનો ઉલ્લેખ થાય કારણકે તેઓ ૧૭૦૦થી વધુ ફોમના સાધનોનું  પૂરતી સંખ્યામાં ઉત્પાદન કરવા અક્ષમ છે.

૧૪૦૦ ફોમવાળા સાધનો(ચશ્માં) પહેરીને સૈનિક પરોઢે કે ઢળતી સાંજે આછા પ્રકાશમાં સ્પષ્ટ જોઈ શકે છે અને ચંદ્રના પ્રકાશની હાજરીમાં ચશ્માં સહિત કંઇક અંશે જોઈ શકે છે. ૧૬૦૦થી વધુ ફોમવાળા સાધનોથી સૈનિક માત્ર તારાઓના પ્રકાશમાં પણ સ્પષ્ટ જોઈ શકે છે. ૧૭૦૦થી વધુ ફોમવાળા ચશ્માંથી સૈનિક અમાવાસની રાત્રે કે વાદળછાયા આકાશના ગાઢ અંધકારમાં કે જંગલમાં પણ સ્પષ્ટ જોઈ શકે છે, જે ભારતીય થળસેનાની માંગણી અને જરૂરિયાતને  સુસંગત છે.

આ માંગણીને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને બે ભારતીય ઉત્પાદન એકમો -- BEL અને ટાટા પાવર (SED) એ -- બંને એ MoDની SCAPCC(Services Capital Acquisition Plan Categorisation Committee)ને ખાતરી આપી કે તે આ ૧૭૦૦થી વધુ ફોમવાળા NVDના ઉત્પાદન માટે સક્ષમ છે. હકીકતમાં BEL જુઠું બોલતી હતી કારણકે હવે તેઓ પાછલે બારણે MoDના અધિકારીઓને ટેન્ડરમાં સુધારો કરવાની વિનંતી કરી રહ્યા છે કે જેથી તેઓ પણ ટેન્ડર ભરી શકે.

MoDએ બે-બે વાર મારા અને તમારા ટેક્સના પૈસા BELને આપીને, વિદેશી ઉદ્યોગ એકમો સાથે કરાર કરીને ટેકનોલોજી હસ્તગત કરવા પ્રયત્ન કર્યા બાદ પણ BEL નિષ્ફળ રહ્યું છે.૧૯૯૦માં ડચ કંપની ડેલ્ફ્ટ(Delft)એ સંયુક્ત ભાગીદારી હેઠળ બીજી પેઢીની તકનીકની આપ-લે કરી હતી અને કંઇક કારણસર ભાગીદારી રદ્દ કરી હતી. હજી ૨૦૧૦-૨૦૧૧માં MoDએ ફ્રેંચ કંપની ફોટોનીસ(Photonis)ને, ૧૨૫૦થી વધુ ફોમવાળા સાધનોની ટેકનોલોજીની હસ્તગત કરવા ૧૦૦ કરોડ રૂપિયા આપ્યા હતાં. BEL ફરી તકનીક શીખવામાં નિષ્ફળ રહી. ના તો તેઓ શીખી શક્યા ના તેમની પાસે ઉપલબ્ધ ટેકનોલોજીમાં સુધારો લાવી શક્યા.

હવે સ્થિતિ એવી છે કે MoD પાસે ફરી ટેકનોલોજી હસ્તગત કરવા માટે વેડફવા માટે નાણા નથી એવું નથી પણ હવે એ વિકલ્પ નકામો છે. કારણકે આધુનિક NVD ટેકનોલોજી વહેંચવામાં હવે કોઈ પણ દેશને રસ નથી.અમેરિકા, કે જેની ITT અને L-3 જેવી કંપનીઓની આ વિજ્ઞાનમાં આગળ પડતી છે તેમને અમેરિકાની સરકાર ૧૨૫૦થી વધુ ફોમવાળા સાધનોની નિકાસની મંજૂરી આપતી નથી. હા, પણ અમેરિકન સરકાર પાકિસ્તાનની થળસેના કે જે અવિકસિત વિસ્તારોમાં તાલિબાન સામે લડવાનો દાવો કરે છે એમને જરૂર નિકાસ કરવાની છૂટ આપે છે. અને કડક કરાર અંતર્ગત અમેરિકાની સેના તે સાધનો પાકિસ્તાન અન્ય કોઈને આપતું નથી તેની દેખરેખ રાખે છે. ભારત સરકાર આવા કરારવાળા સાધનો ક્યારેય નહિ સ્વીકારે. 

 BELના જૂના ફ્રેંચ ભાગીદાર ફોટોનીસ પણ હવે આ ટેકનોલોજીની વહેંચણી નહિ કરી શકે કારણે અમેરીકન કંપનીઓ ફોટોનીસને ખરીદી લેવાની ફિરાકમાં છે. એક વાર ખરીદાઈ ગઈ કે તરત જ તેમના પર પણ અમેરિકન સરકારના નિયમો લાગુ પડી જશે. Reutersનો અહેવાલ આવ્યો છે કે અમેરિકન બેંક Rothschildની આગેવાની હેઠળ ફોટોનીસ વેચવાની વાટાઘાટો ચાલુ છે.


 BELની તંગ પરિસ્થિતિ જોતાં લશ્કરી વડાઓએ આ સાધનો બીજી દેશી(અને ખાનગી) કંપની ટાટા પાવર પાસેથી જ ખરીદવા અનુરોધ કરેલ છે. લશ્કરના ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીઓ એ વાતથી ખુશ છે કે ટાટાએ જર્મન કંપની હાર્ડર ડીજીટલ(Harder Digital) સાથે જોડાણ કરેલ છે જે ૧૭૦૦થી વધુ ફોમવાળા સાધનોની ટેકનોલોજી વહેંચવા અને ભારતમાં ઉત્પાદન કરવા રાજી છે. જર્મન સરકારે સંરક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રે ભારતના મજબૂત ભાગીદાર બનવાના ઇરાદાથી તેની કંપનીને આ ટેકનોલોજી વહેંચવા મંજૂરી આપેલ છે. તદુપરાંત જર્મન સરકાર અમેરિકાની જેમ વપરાશ પર દેખરેખ રાખવાની પણ કોઈ માંગણી નથી કરી રહી. તેઓ માત્ર બાહેંધરી માંગે છે કે આપણે આ ટેકનોલોજી અન્ય કોઈ દેશ સાથે નહિ વહેંચીએ.

ટાટા પાવરે MoDને લેખિતમાં ઊંડાણથી વિગતો સાથે જણાવ્યું છે કે તેઓ લશ્કરની જરૂરિયાતને પહોંચી વળવા સુસજ્જ છે. હાલમાં જ પાકિસ્તાન અને બાંગ્લાદેશમાં પણ બહાર પડેલ ટેન્ડરોમાં ત્રીજી પેઢીના NVDના ધારા-ધોરણોનો ઉલ્લેખ થયેલો હોઈ, રક્ષા-મંત્રાલય માટે BEL માટે થઈને ધોરણોમાં કાપ-કૂપ કરવું અઘરું છે. દાયકાઓથી MoDના શેતાન બાળક જેવા BELએ આયાતી ટેકનોલોજી પર "ભારત"નો સિક્કો મારીને સ્વદેશીના નામે અને દેશની લશ્કરી સુસજ્જતા અને સ્વ-નિર્ભરતાના ભોગે ભારે નફા સાથે જલસા જ કર્યા છે. કદાચ બદલાતાં રક્ષા-મંત્રાલય અને 'નહિ-ચલાવી-લઈએ'નું વલણ રાખનાર લશ્કર સાથે જતે દિવસે પરિસ્થિતિ બદલાય.....

Tidbits on our ex-president Pratibha Patil

Entire nation stood up with awe and pride on 25th of July,2007 when Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil was sworn in as the first woman president of our nation,myself included. Boasting this in lunch discussions with my non-Indian colleagues was heart-warming. I even shared pictures of her in that elegantly drapped Indian Sari(Sadi) with female colleagues. That euphoria started to wane as I started researching about her credentials and accomplishments. Until then, I had never put efforts to learn about her. The only thing I knew was that she was associated with Indian National Congress.

Here are my findings. (Links to support the claims are provided with every point below)

1) She is married to a man who is "FOUND GUILTY" BY Court of appropriating a farmer's land.

2) She is married to a man, DeviSingh Patil, prime accused in a case of abetment to suicide of Kisan Dhage, a school teacher.

3) She is sister of GN Patil,accused by Rajni Patil, widow of slained Jalgaon Congress president Vishram G Patil of hatching the murder conspiracy. She accused of shielding her brother. 4) Unless you know/read/heard/watched how forced religious conversions of poor tribal Hindus to Christianity is a major issue having real possibilities of triggering communal disturbances and administrative challenges in many Indian states, you may not comprehend seriousness of this issue. She was the one who REFUSED to sign anti-conversion law in Rajasthan, effectively nullifying it, as mentioned in the International Religious Freedom Report 2007 by the U.S. Department of State below.

"The Governor of Rajasthan, later elevated to the Presidency, refused to sign her State's anti-conversion law, effectively nullifying it."

5) She is the one having gone on mercy overdrive and commuted(to reduce) the death sentences of 35 petitioners to life to those who are convicted of mass murder, kidnapping, rape and killing of children -a record by any president.

Dear Mrs. Patil, better late than never, I strongly protest discrimination on behalf of Afzal Guru.

The message is that ours is banana republic. You are free to loot/arson/plunder/rape/kill/molest this massive and passive less privileged lot of humans. Criminals may start worshiping Pratibha Mataji for her unbound kindness and love. Dear criminals, I will happily provide financial support if you would like to build a temple to worship Her. Rest of the folks, watch out for more Goa type episodes.

6) She is classic case of pro-dynasty politicians with unprecedented no holds barred on spending public funds for grand-kids! YES! I am not joking. And it even gets better. Mr. Syed Akbaruddin, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs defends her citing Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari OR Mr. 10 percent as the world knows him. (Thank you dear Akbar for just comparison. I know we read each others tweets with utmost attention.)

7) She is the first president to complain about "smaller" living place allotted to her after stepping down. I concur, 8 rooms & 100 yards garden is not big enough.(Living in a mansion of 340 rooms for half a decade would easily spoil any mortal, why blame her!)

One may ask what is the point of such seemingly hit-job post, especially now that she has demitted from office. Well for one, it strengthens the anecdote that the more financially/morally/ethically corrupt you are, better are your chances of hierarchical advancement in nation's largest and oldest political party,Indian National Congress. (You cannot ask for a mansion larger than 340 rooms, at least not that I know of in Bharat. Vilasrao Deshmukh, Shivraj Patil many more examples available)

More importantly, we are a nation of passive/ignorant/irresponsible/callous electorate who has spectacularly failed in it's duty to keep politics clear of tainted leaders to the extent that one such leader was able to become first citizen of our Republic - AND - finish her tenure. Shame!

Islamic conquest of India, bloodiest in the history of World.

Most Bharatiyas(Indians) are either presented tone down/doctored version (by ruling political elite) of real history or have blissfully chose to ignore it. A history of incessant, barbaric invasions of erstwhile Bharat(India) made of small Hindu states by massive Arabic/Islamic armies amounting to unaccountable slavery,plundering and death toll for astounding 1000 years. A history in which Gujarat, Punjab and Rajasthan stood(still are) as first line of defense for larger Bharatiya subcontinent. History and Geography together explains why Hinduism has been maintained in its true traditions on Southern Bharat and declined to an extent in Northen/Western Bharat. A culture,society,land,religion that has withstood world's worst onslaught from another culture/religion is sadly unknown to most.

These videos provides an inkling why in present Bharat also it does not require a maverick or Pundit to polarize electorate with religious whipping. Introducing Mr. Hasan Nisar

There are logical,smart and rational people in every nook and corner of the world. And that Pakistan is no exception would be self-defeating statement unless backed by palpable evidence. Which brings us to Mr. Hasan Nisar. Had majority of Pakistanis believed more in their 'own' Nisar's than their Hamid's, not certain to what extent, Pakistan would be in more acceptable situation today. Had MPD officers/constables better equipped to face terrorists with advance weapon systems, total number of casualties would have been far lesser. It must be acknowledged,at present being on exceptional high growth trajectory and being internationally acclaimed as most successful state run by Hindu Nationalist BJP and its most potent leader Shri Narendra Modi, it is an eyesore for large population of hate-mongering Pakistanis. These are the people having soft corner for Talibanis fighting US-NATO allied forces as well as Jihadi's fighting against India. Gujarat is also home to nations vital assets such as Hajira based Reliance refinery,ISRO,The Sardar Sarovar Dam and more.Keeping these as well as regular intel reports in mind, Gujarat being pro-active state(that it is) is leaving no stone unturned to assure safety of its citizen. Gujarat police to procure 4000 INSAS rifles

In a bid to equip its police force with modern weapons, Gujarat police would be acquiring 4000 Indian Small Arms System (INSAS)rifles in October this year. "We procured 2,000 INSAS rifles in 2008-09 and will be getting 4,000 more in coming October. INSAS rifles are mostly used by BSF, CRPF and para military forces," a state home department official said. He also said that the state's pending demand for 12 more marine police stations is likely to be approved by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. Currently, there are 10 marine police stations in the state, along the 1600-km-long coast line.

On various plans to strengthen the state's security apparatus, the official said that in last two years, around 5,000 posts in the police force have been created with the addition of State Reserved Police (SRP) battalions. "We created around 5,000 new posts in the force. Moreover, we will add four more chetak commando units next year," he said. "Currently, we have two Chetak commando units, which is based on NSG model and two more will be added this year while we plan to double it by next year, and then the commando units will be spread across the state and stationed in Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat," he said.

Each chetak commando unit has 120 commandos which are trained extensively. "One commando unit is under training at Jodhpur and subsequently, that unit will be sent for advanced training in jungle warfare," the official said, adding "we strictly follow the age and physical fitness standards in the commando units."

Followers of this blog know well that its often via videos I share my views. Given my fondness to our heaven Kashmir this video in particular has been long on my mind. I feel apologetic for not being able to share with you so far. We Hindus have just one nation in the world which we can call "ours" and yet within this only nation of ours we fail to pay attention to issues of our own Hindu brothers and sisters. Compare that to Jews or Muslims. Remember during 26/11 Mumbai attack Israel's Government strongly insisted to help Indian Govt to kill terrorists, just so that they can save 6 Jew lives.(Strategically empty headed Congress run Govt of India refused to accept help is another story) Remember how ethnic riots related simple questioning of Muslims in China's Urumqi drew ire of Turkish and other Muslim nations ? Compare that to our response to misery and devastation of Kashmiri Hindus, who are considered the most revered Brahmin clan per our Hindu scriptures. Honestly speaking to some degree I detest our previous Hindu generation for failing to rise to the occasion of protecting them from the onslaught of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism. If I put it bluntly, I detest them for their cowardliness. Inciting passions in the name of "Shri Ram" or Ram temple was not real bravery. Saying let's go to Kashmir and save our Hindu brothers and sisters would have been the right call then.

Eavesdrop some shop-owners chit-chat at any shop in any main bazaar across towns in India and you will hear one common tune. They all boast about how cheap Chinese goods keep the cash-registers full and business strong. I hate to pin-point but they fail to realize that their profiteering is only making their enemies strong. A common man needs to be made aware of Communist China's present day geographical ambitions and that they have not yet returned OUR land of North-Eastern Kashmir(referred as Aksai Chin) which they seized in 1962.(Lets bow our heads for our leaders who chose to forsake the issue)Political leaders like Kiren Rijiju or Swadeshi activists' voices get lost in thick crowds of buzzing Indian metropolises. What is more discomforting is that its not only making enemies strong but at the same time makes us weak. How ? By providing sub-standard quality FMCG goods such as milk,cheese and water.I wish I could go to those shop-keepers and explain that even if you don't understand how your business is aiding our enemy, you should know that a lot of Chinese products contain melamine which is highly toxic and VERY harmful to you as well as your customers. Here are some facts and figures about what I call "Melamine Menace".

Did you know that India is the only country with whom China has chose to NOT to settle border issue through dialogues?? They settled their border issues with Russia and North Korea in a peaceful way by negotiations. Rather they threaten us from time to time that they will annex Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim which they consider their territory ?? Does that sound like my personal crazy thought ? Its actually not. Now even Indian Army is going public about their fear of sudden and swift assault by PLA(People's Liberation Army of China).This is a grave situation.What it means is that IA(Indian Army) is throwing its hands up in the air saying we are not prepared to face China because our defense demands have not been met in past 20 years by uneducated idiots in the parliament and we cannot face a huge PLA army without much required equipments,weaponry and infrastructure.Whose to blame? Army ? Politicians ? No,the highly educated class of India which forms 40% of the population and prioritizes Coffee at Barista over voting once in five years. Don't you just feel like punching such educated idiots? They are worthless citizens adding to the number of population. Interestingly they are also the same people who will complain and whine about ills of India.
