The most controversial journalist of our times, Ms. Barkha Dutt of NDTV recently said in one of her shows that mosques in Kashmir in 1990 "pleaded", mark the word, "pleaded", Kashmiri Pandits to leave the valley. Please see attached screenshot from the show. Did they plead? Let's find out. Please watch the video in this other post called "Islamic Terrorism in Kashmir" on this blog.(Watch particularly from 4:45 to 5:10) Open threats were made on loud-speakers across the valley. The threats made from the loudspeakers of the mosques in the valley said,
"एक आखिरी मौका देते है की आप जल्द से जल्द हमारे इस पाक काश्मीर को खाली करो, अगर आप लोग यहाँ से नहीं गए तो हम आप के मकानों को जलाकर राख कर देंगे | ये आप के लिए आखरी मौका है, चले जाओ, यहाँ से चले जाओ | "
A grade 4 student with modest command over Hindi and English language would tell you that vocabulory of the message and the tone of the audio blaring from the mosques was anything but "pleading". There is a term for such bleeding heart liberals who will go to any length to maintain political correctness and do away with the professional oath of integrity and factuality while reporting. Here in India we identify them as "pseudo-liberal", who are found primarily in the New Delhi's power circles, who per their whim and convinience would twist any story to either add communal flavor(if accused in a Hindu) or remove communal flavor(if accused is a Muslim). What a cheap, unreliable media we have in our country. SHAME.

Barkha Dutt has been caught in bed with scamsters, cheaters and corrupt people. What can you expect from a channel of which she is an editor?
ReplyDeleteThat, a journalist like Barkha Dutt, of a large television network like NDTV could continue doing what ever she did by simply saying “sorry” shows that television channels too are part of the corruption. The netas and babus need the television to broadcast and mislead the masses and the television channels need these very netas and babus to create sensations. The question we have to ask ourselves as viewers is that, do we really need to watch such channels? What do we gain by watching these channels? What does the common man mean to these channels? What about the freedom of expression and the right to information of the common man? Is there any body or any executive body or any judicial body that bothers to listen to the views and wishes of the common man? The corrupt point fingers at each other to deflect the blame and on goes the blame game. When will all this end? It seems that our forefathers and stalwarts were naive in believing that their future generation would adopt their morals and standards. They would be very disappointed now. Unfortunately, there are few stalwarts and heroes remaining. They face the risk of extinction.
ReplyDeleteBarkha Dutt of NDTV represents all the dirty, manipulative aspect of media. NDTV, the network, is a servile creature for the Congress party.
